Aero Ranger supports automatic face and non-target plate redaction technology to protect personal identity if a person or non-target plate is captured in a number plate image.
Automatic redaction works on violation sightings. If a potential violation is discovered for a specific vehicle and there is a person or other vehicle in the evidence, these will be automatically blurred.
Automatic redaction is not enabled by default. Please contact the Aero Ranger team to discuss whether your subscription includes this functionality.
The platform also includes a manual redaction functionality whereby users may manually blur areas within violation photographic evidence. This can be accessed via the full-size image viewer on any plate read, and is included in all subscription tiers.
