Linking & Unlinking Third Party Zone

Updated over a week ago

For permits, when a Third-Party Zone is linked to an Aero Ranger zone, permit information from the relevant third party is allocated into the linked Aero Ranger zone. If no zone is linked, third party permits will not be loaded into Aero Ranger.

For infringements, when a TPZ is linked to an Aero Ranger zone, any violations that you Action from that zone will be sent to the linked TPZ in the third-party system.

Instructions for linking TPZ to Aero Ranger zones are included on the next page.

To link a Third Party Zone to an Aero Ranger Zone, follow the steps below:

1. Open Aero Ranger Dashboard.

2. Go to Admin > Integrations > Third Party Zones.

3. Use the Search Bar to find the Third-Party Zones you would like to link.

4. Select the matching Aero Ranger zone, that you want link to this third party zone. This is for pushing infringement information and getting permit information from external source into the Aero Ranger Dashboard/Vehicle system.

5. Once the Aero Ranger zone has been selected, tick the box on the left and press update to Save the mapping, as seen below.

6. Test the zone by capturing a plate or sending a test infringement/check the permits page for incoming permits from this zone.

To unlink a third party zone from an Aero Ranger zone, follow the steps below:

1. Open Aero Ranger Dashboard.

2. Go to Admin β†’ Integrations β†’ Third Party Zones.

3. Use the Search bar to find the Third-Party zone you would like to unlink.

4. Click in the "Linked Aero Ranger Zone" dropdown menu and unselect the Aero Ranger zone that you want unlinked to this third party zone.

5. Once Aero Ranger zone has been unselected, tick the box on the left and hit update to Save the mapping.
