Once logged in to the Aero Ranger app you will see the main Dashboard page which shows a summary of the plate captures from today:

Ensure the iPad is connected to the WiFi of the EdgeAI device and tap on the Drive tab at the bottom of the screen. Once connected, tap on "Enter Car Link".

Each time you start up the vehicle it is essential that all start-up checks are followed as detailed in the User Guide (Aero Ranger app). Navigate to the below screen by tapping on Settings > Status to check everything is connected successfully:

Tap on any of the camera names from the Status screen to view a live video. Check each camera is connected, clean, in the correct position. You can also disable cameras from this screen using the toggle (or alternatively by tapping on the camera icon above each camera name in the Status screen):

Tap on the "Edge AI" tab for additional checks on the system uptime, temperature, and plates in the upload queue:

Tap on the "Preferences" tab to update the settings as required, including the tone played for plate scans, voice annunciation, and pausing alerts and violations on the screen for longer when they're flagged. You can also hide previous violation scans in the list so only the latest potential violations show on the Live Capture screen.

Navigate to the "Live Capture" screen to monitor the license plate scans being captured as you drive. Each scan will have a timestamp displayed, and show the vehicle's make and colour which is detected by the AI. There is also a banner that appears underneath the snapshot to show which zone the plate read has been allocated to.

The below screenshot shows what the "List" view looks like. this can be changed in the "View" menu to the right of the search bar:

The below screenshot shows the "Map" view, which gives better visibility of the placement of your zones and any navigation you are currently using:

The "Navigation" tab allows you to search for addresses or zones and guides you to the location similar to using the Maps application:

App Stability: The Aero Ranger app is stable and regularly tested. Any crashes or disconnections are unusual and should be reported.

· App crash definition: The app freezes or shuts down, needing a restart. Report crashes to Aero Ranger with the time, date, and, if possible, video or photo evidence.

· App disconnect definition: The app fails to connect to the Edgebox. Report disconnections with the time, date, and relevant details or evidence.
