Create a Paid Parking Zone Category

Create a zone category for parking areas where an active parking session is required.

1. Navigate to the zones page https://dashboard.aeroranger.com/zones

2. Click on "Manage Zone Categories" and enter a name into the "Category Name" field, for example "EasyPark Zones".

4. Click the "Zone Type" dropdown box and select the "Paid Parking" option (this list will show your current integrations).

6. Click on the dropper icon and choose a colour for the zones to show on the map.

7. Let's choose blue.

9. Choose "require two sightings" if required - this will increase the accuracy of the violation algorithms by 5x.

10. Select your preferred second sighting delay. The car park will need to be scanned a second time after the "delay time" to flag violations.

11. Click the "Notification list:

Sends details of all violations flagged within the zones following this category. Accepts emails and/or mobile numbers (e.g. [email protected], +61234567890)" field.

13. Click on "CREATE" to finish the Zone Category.

All zones following this category will check against the linked integrated third party service(s) for active sessions and flag vehicles as violations who don't have a session at the time. These zones will need to be linked in the "Third Party Zones" page to check against the relevant third party areas.
